As we enter the summer of 2021, there's an element of doubt regarding how Rotary will continue to provide those human connections Rotary members valued in the past. While the motto of "hands-face-space" is certain to become part of routine in our club, it is clear that trust is growing and that there is a greater number of face-to-face interactions. But Rotary has changed. As we flow through the summer of 2021, there is a lot of uncertainty about whether our social service will be able to include the essential connections between people that were enjoyed by Rotary participants in the past. Even though the "hands facing space" mantra is sure to become part of routine in the club, there's no doubt that the feeling of security is developing, and more people make face-to-face connections. Rotary's face has changed. Rotary network is a great way to make long-lasting friendships. The pandemic has prompted us to enhance our technology techniques. We maintain our business on the internet, while introducing a new volunteer and social activities. To create an exciting new future, we've embraced these new opportunities and blended them with some of the most efficient pre-pandemic practices. The creativity and innovation of our members in finding solutions to the toughest challenges is amazing and I am so happy that the chance to be a part of Rotary was offered to me in the year 2002. Rotary gave me a trusted network with like-minded people that has allowed for the formation of real friendships.
