Eva Mendes is an American actor and model. The talent agent who spotted her and recognized her abilities convinced her to go into the entertainment industry. After a lot of consideration she decided to drop out of the university to enter the entertainment industry. Her debut came in the film Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, which she was not happy with how the film turned out. It took her a long period of time to refine her acting abilities and appeared in several low-budget productions order to demonstrate her abilities. It was not an easy road for this actress but her sheer willpower and perseverance did not go unrewarded. The actress received fame and high praise for her performance in the film Training Day after which her acting career began to take off.
